WendesdayThe first programme consists of the introduction of all the groups, which have accepted the invitation by our Town Cultural Centre. From 10 p. m. we plan the Dancing party with the country group Pěna from Rtyně v Podkrkonoší.

ThursdayOn Thursday the performs have got their leisure time. On this free day they have got the chance to get to know the nearest surroundings. Mostly they are accompanied by their attendants and they usually visit the sand-rocks Adrspach, the fortress Dobrošov, they can visit Nachod with its well-known castle etc. Foreign groups will entertain all the spectators from 6 p. m. The spectators get to know the mentality, folklore and traditions of the performing groups step by step. The performance of Slovak groups will start at 9 p.m. this performance is an extrakt of the activities of two Slovak groups. Folk art is going to prepade real atmosphere for the other groups and the spectators alltohether.

FridayOn Friday – the foreign countries group will prezent their folklore, their art in the surrounding towns to bring pleasure to their inhabitants and to ingote them for the Folklore Festival to Červený Kostelec. At 2:30 p. m the groups will dance and sing on the square at the invitation to the Main programme. The Transoceanic groups will have thein own performance time at 6 p.m. These foreign countries groups will show thein folklore, thein temperament, so wonderfull for our Czech spectators. This evening will be closed by the traditional "Dancing entertainment with folklore". The group and all the spectators can lezen the dances from all over the world together.

SaturdayOn Saturday the Holy Mass will be prepared in our natural stage area at 10 a. m. This Mass isn't only for the citizens, but also for the groups. Many of these groups take a share in it. Big festival „marathon“ with folklore will start at 2:30 p. m. At first there will be the spectators competition „Afternoon with folklore“ where they vote for the most popular group. Each group has got own container at the stage and the spectators give some coins to the one of their favourite group. The results will be given on Sunday during the main programme. The Children´s Hedley will be opened at 6 p.m. – there will be dance Czech children´s folklore groups. The main show called „Groups present themselves“ starts in the natural stage area at 7:30 p. m. and it isn't only the invitation for the performers but also for the spectators who will dance during the entertainment.

SundayOn Sunday morning the whole town will sing and dance. The parade of participants dressed in their national costumes will start from the housing estate Koubovka. This parade passes through the town and the square to our natural stage area, where the main programme will start. On their way the groups will dance, sing and will be accompanied by music bands. We hope, that many of the spectators will join the parade and they will start to dance with participants, as they did in the previous years. From 12 a. m. there will be the „Folk bands meeting“ in natural stage area. The main festival programme „Folklore world in Červený Kostelec“ will be opened at 1. p. m. It will be the jubilee GALA PERFORMANCE of the 55th international folklore festival. All the groups will alternate on the stage the whole afternoon. These performances will entertain and please us with the colourful folk songs ans dances. The festival will be closed with festival songs.
