This organization started work in 2005, in 2009 it have registered as Non – Profit Organization. It promote traditional Cultural folk dances in India as well as in Abroad, and forvard folk tradition to futher generations in order to preserve nationals culture.
XOCHIPITZAHUALT - Dance Group
Mexico - Sahagún
The dance group was founded in 2005, in 2009 began working under the name Xochipitzahualt (small flower) under the direction of profesor Noemi Sanchez Garcia, who is recognized for its national prestige. This dance group has received many awards in his country.
URALSKAYA VETCHORA
Russia - Jekaterinburg
The folklore ensemble Uralskaja Vetchora was formed in 1994 alongside Grammar school in Yekaterinburg to advertise Ural´s folklore. In its programme presents folk art, dances in the circle and folklore from the mountains Ural. It has a rich repertoire of dances and songs with national instruments typical for Russia.
THE FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE VRANOVČAN
Slovakia - Vranov nad Topľou
The folklore ensemble VRANOVČAN has been founded in 1968. In its programme, the ensemble shows and publicizes national culture heritage from the part Zemplín, Šariš and East-Slovakian region. The ensemble Vranovčan has represented Slovakia in many international festivals all over the world.
THE FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE BYSTRINA
Slovakia - Banská Bystrica
The folklore group Bystina was founded in 1980 and this year celebrates 30th anniversary of its founding. In its varied cultural program presented folklore from various regions of Slovakia, for example from Myjava, Terchová, Liptov, Cigáň and other.The group is successful not only at European festivals, but also in Africa and Asia.
RANCHO FOLCLÓRIKO VERDE GAIO
Portugal - Lordosa – Viseu
The folklore group VERDE GAIO from Lordosa began in 1993 and was placed under the folk cultural association three years later. Dancers and musicians are representing and maintaining the tradition of the Portuguese countryside and tries to pass it the younger generation. The folklore group has succes of festivals around the World.
LI GAI FARANDOULAIRE
France - Marseille
The traditional folk dance group Li Gai Farandoulaire is a Provencal’s ensemble consisted of young dancers from 14 to 30 years old, musicians and singers. The group was based in Marseille – south of France – main city of the region called Provence. The first ambition of the group is promote Provencal’s culture and traditions through dances, music and costumes.
SICILIA BEDDA
Italy - Sicily - Grotte
The Folk Group “Sicilia Bedda”, cleverly directed by the Teacher Francesco Caradonna, has been founded in 1993, and has tried to let know through the dance and the music the popular traditions of ancient Sicily. The group makes used of instruments typical of the Sicilian folklore as friscalettu, bummulu, maranzanu, drum, tambourine, mandolin.
LE TRADIZIONI
Italy - Minturno
The folk dance group was founded in 1955 in Italian town Minturno and began to present the tradition of Lazio and Campania. In 1972 separated from them the yunger group, whitch founded the group LE TRADIZIONI and remain faithful to the tradition of their area. They attend to traditional Italian dances, such as Tarantella, specific are elements of the fisheries Themis. The group hold folklore festival in their town in July and They visited festivals almos all over the World.
HARMAN
Turkey - Istanbul
HARMAN is a folk ensemble of child, young, adults lovers of TURKISH traditional dancing, song and music. Harman repertoire consists of origin in various parts of TURKEY, which are based on our rich folklore heritage with fast and dynamic foot-work, natural image and colorful national costumes. HARMAN group have started 15 years ago, it has taken part in a lot of international festivals various countries in the world.
THE FOLKLORE GROUP JAVORINA
Czech republic - Strání
The folklore group Javorina was founded in 1985 in a small village Strání on the border with Slovakia.The group is mainly focused on traditional dancing and songs from its own region of Moravian Kopanice and western part of Slovakia. The typical dance for the group and for the village Strání is sword dance colled “Pod Sable“ formed in 18th century.
THE FOLKLORE GROUP LIPKA
Czech republic - Pardubice
The folklore group Lipka was founded in 2007 in the House of Culture Dubina in Pardubice. Its work builds on the rich legacy of Song and Dance Ensemble Lipka. At the present time brings together more then 30 enthusiastic dancers and misicians. The repertoare consists of songs and dances mainly from Pardubice, Hradec Králové, Chrudim and Czech Horácko.
THE CHILDREN’S GROUP HADÁŘEK
Czech republic – Červený Kostelec
The Children’s folklore group called Hadářek has been founded under the Town Culture Centre in Červený Kostelec. This group presents songs, games, proverbs and traditions from the area at the feet the Giant’s and Eagle’s Mountains. The repertoire has made of several dances and songs. The children not only dance and sing, but also present different rhymes and habits and handwork professions.
THE CHILDREN’S GROUP BARUNKA
Czech republic - Česká Skalice
Children’s folklore ensemble Barunka was found in 1991 under the auspices of Bájo – The Children and Youth Centre in Česká Skalice. The leader and choreograf is Martina Pavlasová. In the programs are reprezented songs and rhymes of northeastern Bohemia. The group was named after the child name of the famous writer Božena Němcová, who spent in the region of Česká Skalice her childhood, and went to school there.
THE CHILDREN’S GROUP FORMÁNCI
Czech republic - Slatiňany
Children’s folklore group Formánci celebrating this year its 5 birthday. The ensemble was founded in September 2005 as part of the dance field ZUŠ Slatiňany. In two separate file is singing and dancing more than 60 children 5 to 17 years old. The group handles songs, dances, children’s games and rhymes from eastern Bohemia and Czech – Moravian Highlands.
